Autorenporträt
Jasmine Anastacia obtained her Masters of Social Work degree from Baylor University in 2012. Subsequently, she served as a social work practitioner with approximately nine years of experience in providing direct practice, quality care, and support to vulnerable populations, including: at-risk and high-risk youth and their families, maltreated children, and mentally and physically ill (challenged) individuals. Her trauma-informed interventions and care occurred in multiple settings, including: hospital, residential, and child welfare services. During the latter part of her career in healthcare, she developed a passion for counseling and educating clients on the metaphysical root of their physical ailments and conditions. As a result, she became immersed in collecting the data, conducting research, and providing care that was holistic and addressed multiple layers of overall health. In addition to direct practice, Jasmine was afforded the opportunity to teach Ethics, Gerontology, Grief and Loss at the University of the Bahamas as adjunct faculty. Currently, she provides consultation, training, and coaching to private and public organizations and individuals.
