Autorenporträt
Walter Ott is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Virginia, where he earned his Ph.D. in 2000. He is the author of Locke's Philosophy of Language (Cambridge), Causation and Laws of Nature in Early Modern Philosophy (Oxford), and Descartes, Malebranche, and the Crisis of Perception (Oxford). He has published articles in Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Journal of the American Philosophical Association, Ancient Philosophy, and Archiv für Geschichte der Philosophie , among others.
