Morten G. Ender is Professor of Sociology in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, USA. He served as the Chair of the Peace, War, and Social Conflict Section of the American Sociological Association from 2005-2006. David E. Rohall is Professor of Sociology at Western Illinois University, USA and is a Marine Corps veteran. He is Director of the Western Survey Research Center at Western Illinois University. Michael D. Matthews is Professor of Engineering Psychology at the United States Military Academy, West Point, New York, USA. He served as President of the American Psychological Association's Division of Military Psychology from 2007-2008 and is a Templeton Foundation Senior Positive Psychology Fellow.
