L'auteur est titulaire d'une maîtrise en ingénierie minière, d'une maîtrise en ingénierie pétrolière et en développement de projets et d'une licence en ingénierie minière de l'Université fédérale de technologie d'Akure. Il est enseignant et chercheur au Yaba College of Technology, au Nigeria, et membre du Council for Regulation of Engineering In Nigeria.
