Brouria Bitton Ashkelony, Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Comparative Religion, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She is the author of Encountering the Sacred: The Debate on Christian Pilgrimage in Late Antiquity (Berkeley, 2005), and co-editor of Christian Gaza in Late Antiquity (Brill, 2004). Aryeh Kofsky, Ph.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, is a Senior Lecturer of Comparative Religion in the Department of Land of Israel Studies, the University of Haifa. His work includes Eusebius of Caesarea Against Paganism (Leiden, 2000), and The Nusayri-Alawi Religion: An Enquiry into Its Theology and Liturgy (Leiden, 2002, with M. Bar-Asher). He is also co-editor of Christian Gaza in Late Antiquity (Brill, 2004).
