To monitor changes in water & soil quality and quantity due to the impact of ship-breaking pollution and also its impact on plants and vegetables of the coastal area. 3. To assess hydrological and geological changes and pollution due to ship-breaking and their management. 4. To study the potential impacts on biodiversity of marine fisheries due to ship-breaking activities. 5. To provide reliable assessment data (compared with national and international standards) to the proper Govt. authority & NGOs in order to make new policy for Ship recycling. So it would be wise decisions to save the public health and marine environment from toxic and hazardous materials. 6. To publish the assessment data in the national & International Journals so that public awareness may be increased about the effects and remedies of the water & soil pollution due to ship-breaking activities
