Seventy-two astonishing discoveries that lead us to the assassin of Alexander the Great. The Murder of Alexander the Great, Book 2 - The Secret War, traces Alexander's expedition to the unknown boundaries of the ancient world and tracks his disastrous return journey finally ending in his deathbed in Babylon. In 326 BC, Alexander set out to conquer the world… He remained undefeated across three continents as he vanquished rulers and carved his territory with an insatiable hunger. As he finally marched through the Hindu Kush mountains and stepped into the Indus Valley, little did he know that a secret war was being waged to decimate his army and rewrite his destiny. How did the great king of Macedonia meet his match in one of ancient India's most cunning military strategists? The Secret War explores the ruthless execution of a war strategy outlined in the Arthashastra, a celebrated Indian military manual. It recounts how Alexander was skillfully stopped from conquering India and forced back to Persia where he died under suspicious circumstances at the young age of thirty-three. The exciting narrative ends in a stunning climax that unearths not only Alexander's assassin but also identifies the lethal weapon named as the 'destroyer of time'. https://murderofalexanderthegreat.com
