Mildred Cathcart Nidds, after completing a successful business career, dedicated herself to pursuing her lifelong passion for writing. Born and bred in New York City, she later moved to San Francisco. She now spends her time between San Francisco and the Sierra Foothills with her husband and their rescued dog, Angus MacGregor. Mildred is known for her down-to-earth type of writing-dramatic, but with a touch of humor amidst the pages. After receiving many rewards for her short stories, she then penned four books that were well received. "Annie's Journey," "The Strange Valley," "The Missions," and "The Mystery of Seminary Hill."
