This book is part of a coming-of-age series about an offbeat, imaginative kid named Frank who is given the extraordinary ability to travel through time during his adolescent/young adult years. Frank's travels enable him to see connections between the past and present, providing a glimpse into the wonders of life and the significance of kindness, empathy, friendship, and family. In Book One: The Early Years, follow Frank through seventh and eighth grade as he discovers a mystical staircase that allows him to travel back in time. The text of this book is presented using a unique methodology called Noah Text® that is designed to make text easier for dyslexics and other struggling readers to decode. Noah Text® enhances reading fluency and comprehension by highlighting sound parts within words and providing clues to vowel sound pronunciation. The use of Noah Text® in this book makes a compelling story more accessible to readers who might otherwise not have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Autorenporträt
Sarah K. Blodgett is the inventor of Noah Text®, a patented method of displaying text that helps striving, dyslexic, and English-learning readers enjoy deep, wide reading experiences. An evidence-based word-level scaffold, Noah Text® can be applied to any font. Sarah has a big imagination and is always coming up with ideas and stories as she treks between the edges of the ocean and forest. She lives in coastal New England with her husband and rescue dog, Alita, who they believe is a Shepherd-Husky mix. Sarah also has two grown children who flew the coop along with the backyard chickens. The chickens, you'll see, have special significance in the magical trilogy Sarah wrote. Her children, of course, still love to return to the roost to visit.
