In a world in which the atomisation of knowledge seems to be increasingly accentuated, debates on a proposal to reintegrate and unify knowledge become extremely relevant. To discuss the relationship between History and Literature at the time of its imbrication with Philosophy and the beginning of its segmentation, is to realise the potential for interrelation of knowledge and the motivations for the rise of a fragmented educational structure of Western knowledge. It is in this sense that the holistic paradigm comes into play, perceiving the world as an interconnected whole, intertwined and integrated in everything that composes it.
