Joan Gold Cypress, author Joan is a free spirit who is a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, fairy, dancing queen, and now author. She makes it a daily practice to be grateful for her family and friends. As a philanthropist, she takes pride in paying it forward, and she hopes to share joy with her uplifting, rhyming words. Joan resides in Eugene, Oregon, a far cry from her Nashville roots. When not writing, she enjoys performing, dancing, gardening and spending time with her family. All Lola Buckwald, illustrator Lola is a self-taught artist from the Pacific Northwest who explores different materials and mediums. "From murals to watercolors, my life moments and interests have been captured in my paintings." Illustrating children's books is a recent passion that has her tapping into new creative process, inspired by her inner child, who's been happy to come out and play.
