Ruby Molly Hawkins is the author of the Hawkins Family Series, and the Vegetable Garden Series. Christmas at Number 61 was the first in the Hawkins Family Series followed by her second book, Let's Play Hide and Seek. These are stories based on the recollections of her childhood and feature the fictional Hawkins family: three brothers and a sister, aged between 3-8 years old who are brought up by their father single-handedly. New Arrivals is the first in the Vegetable Garden Series. These stories are based on fictional fruits and vegetable characters living in a vegetable garden. As each season changes, different fruits and vegetables are planted in the garden, where they come to life and interact with each other. Through the stories, you will meet Suzy Strawberry, Olly Onion, Tommy Tomato and many, many more. Ruby lives in Southern Spain and enjoys spending time with her family and writing, as well as caring for their ever-expanding family of animals.
