Dan Schlossberg, a former AP sportswriter, is the author or coauthor of nearly 40 baseball books, including When the Braves Ruled the Diamond; Making Airwaves: 60 Years at Milo's Microphone; Designated Hebrew: the Ron Blomberg Story; and The 300 Club: Have We Seen the Last of Baseball's 300-Game Winners? A national baseball writer for forbes.com since June 2018, he also contributes to USA TODAY Sports Weekly, Sports Collectors Digest, Latino Sports, Boston Red Sox Diamond Days, and numerous other outlets. A Bronx native raised in New Jersey, he has won awards for his work from the Garden State Journalists Association and the North American Travel Journalists Association, which he co-founded in 1991. He once announced baseball games over Syracuse University's WAER with Len Berman and continues to do freelance broadcast work in addition to writing and public speaking.
