Larry Walker writes on food, wine and travel. His book Classic Wines of the Napa Valley was short-listed for the International Wine Book of the Year. He is also the author of The Wine Companion to Napa and Sonoma. With his wife, Ann Walker, he has written five books: Season in Spain (Simon & Schuster), Pleasures of the Canary Islands (Board and Bench Publishing), Tequila: the Book (Chronicle Books), Tapas (Chronicle Books)and The Best of California (Collins Publishers). Ann Walker is a food educator, Writer, and was co-owner and Executive Chef of Café Tango in San Rafael, the first Spanish tapas restaurant on the West Coast. Working with her husband, Larry Walker, she has written five food and wine books, as mentioned above.
