Mindful of this, adopting qualitative methodology and appropriate qualitative methods, this research critically appraises the nexus or better still the relationship between intrastate conflict and the right to development. Conflict and development are natural phenomenon and inevitable in all aspects of human endeavors. The realization of the right to development from time immemorial has proven to be ineffective in times and places of conflict, the Southwest and Northwest regions of Cameroon being contemporary.
