This book attempts to reveal the challenges faced by the vulnerable communities in access to energy in post apartheid era by looking at some of the surroundings area of eThekwini Municipality. Lastly, it also looks at the manner in which government through its institution in meeting challenges faced by the marginalised community.

He is a social activist, former unionist and researcher on the livelihoods of the marginalised populace. Currently, lecturing in Sociology Department at University of KwaZulu-Natal.
