Dr Maxwell Zakhele Shamase is lecturing socio-cultural and contemporary political history at the University of Zululand, South Africa. Dr Maxwell is also an author of a plethora of spiritual books and critical religious articles. He received the award for the best doctoral research bursar in Humanities in 2001 from the National Research Foundation.
