The 'En Boqeq oasis is located on the southwestern shore of the Dead Sea. The first volume is mainly dedicated to the study of the Late Roman and Byzantine fort.
The second volume is mainly dedicated to the study of an industrial compound of the 1st century CE (antedating the First Jewish War), termed by the authors officina, which is actually incorporating an isolated tower of presumably Herodian times. The main objective of this publication is, therefore, the presentation and analysis of the finds retrieved, together with their social implications, in the context of the geo-political environment of the 1st century BCE to 2nd century CE.
