As she struggles forward, She isn't sure she has the strength to go forward and continue her job. But it is the thought of the responsibility she has, that gives her the inner strength to go forward, despite the complaints of her aging, damaged engine. It is also the words of encouragement, by the old toymaker that gives her the strength to go forward regardless of how hard or how steep the road ahead is. It is my sincere hope that this will inspire both children and maybe the adults who may read with them. Sometimes the road ahead may seem insurmountable, but if you truly believe, like Goldie discovers, you CAN and WILL accomplish anything.
