Prof Panda is a retired professor of Economics from Utkal University,Odisha and prsently Vice Chancellor,Birla Global University,Odisha.He has been member and chairman of many professional bodises and commissions setup by the government of Odisha.He has written many story and acdemic books like "The Paupor and the Potato and Other Stories".
