The women melted, one by one or all at once, unable to resist the power of his eyes. The chance to be with a man like David came along one in a lifetime or, if one were lucky, never at all. He wasn't a bad boy, but David Gideon was always leaving town one step ahead of trouble or just after a break-up. He wasn't tall and handsome, but he could still turn a head. If those women dared to look him in the eyes, he would share his gift with them and he was magically gifted. All succumbed to his pleasures. Some enjoyed him for who he was but most just used him. Either way, the money flowed. Always on the run, satisfying women at every stop along the way, he had to slow down and find meaning to his life. Will he ever find it? Or is it her? Or is it just too late?
Autorenporträt
Bonnie Shiloh grew up in a small town in Texas and hung around long enough to date everybody in the tricounty area and snag a few college degrees before bolting for the big city. Full of work ethic and determination, Bonnie climbed the corporate ladder to a comfortable position outwardly giving the appearance of a hard, but fair corporate manager. Bonnie remained single until late in life, concentrating on her career, traveling, and expanding her social circle. Inwardly, Bonnie yearned to be more creative. Unable to paint, sing, play any instrument, or do photography, Bonnie began to write with the final goal of producing a collection of three books about exceptionally uncommon people. Not superheroes, but flesh and blood men and women who feel physical pain and whose hearts break.
