A study of the organizational climate at the Amancio Municipal University Center was carried out and a series of deficiencies were detected, mainly related to: inadequate working conditions, unsatisfactory interpersonal relations and the existence of conflicts, inefficient communication and failure to comply with work tasks and functions. On the basis of these deficiencies, an action plan is designed to improve the organizational climate; which provides a series of benefits to the organization, such as: it contributes to optimize individual performance, strengthens the results of the organization and constitutes an effective tool for organizational decision making. The relevance of the designed action plan is assessed through group work and specialist criteria; this makes it possible to confirm its validity in order to contribute to solving the deficiencies detected in the work environment, favour a better institutional functioning and a greater efficiency in the fulfilment of the organisational objectives.
