Alex is a professional chartered civil engineer with a keen interest in the arts-particularly drama and literature. It therefore comes as no surprise that Alex has chosen to write his first novel about the dramatic and remarkable life of an illustrious engineer from the time when Britain led the world in ingenuity and invention.
