Marla Holt grew up wishing the heroines in the fairy tales she loved had more to choose from than marrying the prince or utter devastation, so now she writes modern day fairy tales with a feminist flare. She earned a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Kansas in 2011. Now Marla is living her own dream come true, writing and knitting in Topeka, Kansas with her husband and three boys.
