After a busy and successful career in education, Wendy took early retirement in 2011 and studied creative writing. She read a lot of 'how-to' books, undertook various courses, joined a book club of like minded writers and wrote her first book: St Francis an Instrument of Peace (published in 2018 by Novum). She then completed the Random House advanced programme where she developed her second book: Not Exactly Chaucer (published in 2020 by Conrad Press).The Other Side of the Coin is her third book, set in her home town of Falmouth in Cornwall.
