Harry E. Vanden is Professor Emeritus of Political Science and Latin American Studies at the University of South Florida, where he was the founding director of the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Center. Gary Prevost is Professor Emeritus of Political Science and Latin American Studies at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, and Research Associate in Political Studies at Nelson Mandela University.
