Natalie Yvette Gutiérrez, LMFT, (she/her) is a Puerto Rican licensed therapist and healer in New York. She is the author of The Pain We Carry: Healing from Complex PTSD for People of Color. Gutiérrez specializes in supporting communities of color reeling from the soul wounds of complex trauma. She has worked to help many people on the healing journey navigating racial trauma, colonial and historical trauma, intergenerational trauma, and sexual trauma. Gutiérrez is a certified internal family systems (IFS) therapist and trainer at the IFS Institute.
