Many studies indicate that individuals develop coping skills about grief. However, there is additional evidence that emphasizes that individuals who are unable to overcome their grief are at higher risk for various diverse behavior problems, morbidity, and even suicide. Dr. Rodríguez is an educational leader focused on supporting local, state and national initiatives and programs. Dr. Rodriguez is a member of various educational organizations, including, the California League of High Schools, Association of California Administrators, California Association of Latino Superintendents and Administrators, as well as a California Awards for Performance Excellence California state examiner. Dr. Rodríguez has been in the educational profession for over thirty-six years, having served as an elementary teacher, high school guidance counselor, and high school principal, in addition to, lecturer/presenter for state, national and higher education. Dr. Rodriguez received an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Organizational Management from the University of La Verne. In addition, Dr. Rodríguez received a B.A. in Philosophy from St. Mary's College in Moraga California, B.A. in Music History & Literature from Holy Names College, M.A. in Musicology from CSU, Fullerton, M.A in Education from Cal Poly Pomona California, and M.S. in School Counseling from the University of La Verne, in La Verne California.
