Vicky Ramakka writes about the Four Corners region, where she meets fascinating people who are willing to share their stories. Through photography and writing, she shares her love of the southwest in local, regional, and national magazines. Her articles have won awards from the New Mexico Press Women and SouthWest Writers. Vicky and her husband reside in northwest New Mexico. She volunteers as a Site Steward to monitor a Rock Art site and enjoys every trip to the remote canyons and archaeological sites.
