The Persnickety Witch of Fiddyment Creek is Gaye Pollinger's first published book. Gaye grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and on her grandparent's farm in Southern Illinois. She was a missionary in Dakar, Senegal, West Africa, and worked for several faith-based organizations in Illinois and Southern California. Gaye lives in Romeoville, Illinois, just one town over from Fiddyment Creek, the inspiration for this book.
