Robert Walker: Born 1954. BA in Hotel Management 1972-75 from the Scottish Hotel School, University of Strathclyde. Recruited through the British Government's Overseas Development Administration (ODA) as a lecturer in Hotel Management at the Evelyn Hone College in Lusaka, Zambia on a 2 year contract starting 1980. Contracts extended and renewed. 6 years' later returned to UK overland in Land rover.Moved career into Training and Management Development. 1992 completed Master's in People Development.20 years in HR development.2008-2011 Organisation Development Manager in Saudi Arabia.Now retired but just back from 10 months travelling in his Land Rover around Southern Africa.
