Autorenporträt
Michael D. Wester is the pastor-teacher of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Michigan and author of a four-book series entitled The Poetic Scriptures: God's Word in Rhythm & Rhyme. He earned a Master of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, with a focus in biblical Greek, the original language of the New Testament. For over three decades, Michael has studied the Greek bible and has used that knowledge to bring people face to face with God's word. Henry Blackaby, author of Experiencing God, wrote these words after reviewing a pre-published copy of Michael's first book: I have begun reading through selected passages and have been blessed. This "effort/work" of yours is unique and special. Aside from biblical studies and poetry, Michael enjoys working out daily, singing, acting, and board games. His wife, Donna, and their two grown children agree that Michael leads a highly disciplined life with one weakness, chocolate chip cookies.
