Autorenporträt
I was reading a book, I cannot recall now what the book was about. It mentioned a paragraph on Heraclius. A Roman Emperor I had never heard about. I researched into this emperor and discovered he was little known although more influential than even the likes of Alexander the Great. I then decided I was going to write a book about how he turned around the fortunes of the Roman Empire which was crumbling. A reflection of my own life that had crumbled. I was determined to succeed despite having fallen foul of not trusting to the truth. Like Heraclius.
