Asked to describe how she feels about writing, author Sherry Weese-Anthamatten would say, "I don't write. Writing would be the last thing that I would have chosen. The Lord inspired this poetry. It's more like taking dictation or speaking a 'word' of prophecy; I can't make myself do it, as I will. It comes from God, as He wills." This collection of over 90 inspired poems will give you peace, strengthen your spirit, and draw you ever closer to God.

Autorenporträt
Sherry Weese-Anthamatten loved growing up in her small home-town of Drumright, Oklahoma. Her hobbies were ballet, tap and contemporary dance, as well as high school cheerleading. She married her husband Ernest in 1995 and became step-mom to a son and two daughters and has been blessed with three grandchildren. Sherry's husband Ernest has been involved in ministry outreach since age 21, co-founding Jesus Way Ministries in the 1970's. In 2003, the couple founded Holy Joe's Gathering Place Ministries, Inc. in Broken Arrow; a casual coffee-house type atmosphere with Bible teaching, live Christian bands, including The Holy Joe's House Band led by Ernest who was lead vocalist plus playing keyboard and rhythm guitar. They served Christians of all denominations, as well as providing bus transportation for many people experiencing homelessness and drug and alcohol addictions. The ministry experienced far-reaching effects of salvations and lives changed, with many of the converted becoming volunteer staff for the ministry. Nursing home ministry has also been a passion for Sherry, where she visits with residents, offering companionship, love and encouragement through her poetry, prayer and God-inspired messages. Recently, Sherry and Ernest have been able to semi-retire, focusing on publishing Sherry's poetry and other Christian books, and recording songs they have both written and used in ministry over the years. At home, Sherry loves flower gardening, and both she and her husband enjoy doing restoration projects on their 1920 historical home. They are also devoted "pet parents" to their Shih Tzu, Sissy, and Jack Russell terrier, Jackie. Asked to describe how she feels about writing, Sherry would say, "I don't write.
