Sara Konoe looks into the politics of financial regulatory developments in the United States, Japan, and Germany. These case studies highlight systemic interaction between institutions and political contexts, and provide broader implications for global financial governance.
Sara Konoe is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Kansai University, Japan. She received her PhD from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University in May 2009 and was a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the European University Institute in 2009-2010.
