This interdisciplinary book brings together innovative chapters that address the entire spectrum of the African peacebuilding landscape and showcases findings from original studies on peacebuilding.

With a range of perspectives, the chapters cover the full gamut of peacebuilding (i.e. the continuum between conflict prevention and post-war reconstruction) and address both micro and macro peacebuilding issues in the five regions of Africa. Thomas Kwasi Tieku is an associate professor of Political Science in King's University College at The University of Western Ontario, Canada. Amanda Coffie is a research fellow at the Legon Center for International Affairs and Diplomacy, University of Ghana, Ghana. Mary Boatemaa Setrana is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Migration Studies (CMS), University of Ghana, Ghana. Akin Taiwo is an assistant professor of Social Work at King's University College at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.
