Author Tricia Griffith wears many hats; she's a Certified Project Manager, member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Board Member of Sisters Network, New York City Chapter, volunteer and community activist. She also holds membership with The National PanHellenic Council (NPHC), Top Ladies of Distinction and her Alma Mata's Black/Hispanic Alumni Association; supporting activities in and around her community.Most notably, she is a breast cancer survivor and advocate. Tricia enjoys volunteering with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network to improve policies around cancer research, treatment, etc. Volunteerism is important to Tricia and allows her to give back to her community and the causes near and dear to her heart. In her spare time, Tricia serves as an Usher at her church and loves running (she completed the Diva Half Marathon), traveling, event planning, and enjoying a good meal and hearty laughs with family and friends.
