This book discusses the problems and prospects of Malawi's governance systems. It argues that for Malawi to develop and inculcate the democratic system of governance that benefits the people there is a need to intensify the way people view governance and politics. Malawi has been going through governance problems since independence. Therefore, the book discusses five constituents of the power of the powerless. It argues that if these constituents are followed by the members of the general public, it would bring in some sanity to the often-times insane political landscape and governance challenges in Malawi. Consequently, the book is a socio-political and theological analysis that tries to bring in the ethical theological perspective to the governance systems in Malawi as a way of contributing to solving Malawi's governance quagmire.
