Dr Huang Yanjie is Professor of English studies and Head of Centre for Translation Studies at Anhui Polytechnic University He was also a visiting scholar at Centre for Translation Hong Kong Baptist University His current research interests concern translation history and comparative literature He is now Anhui provincial candidate for academic technology leaders and also member of both the Translators Association of China and the International Society for Chinese Culture Studies
