Corinne McLaughlin is co-author of Spiritual Politics and Builders of the Dawn. She is the executive director of the Center for Visionary Leadership, based in the San Francisco area, and a co-founder of Sirius, a spiritual and ecological community in Massachusetts. Corinne directed a national Task Force on Sustainable Communities for President Clinton's Council on Sustainable Development and served on the adjunct faculty of the American University and the University of Massachusetts. A Fellow of the World Business Academy and the Findhorn Foundation, and a member of The Transformational Leadership Council, she has taught courses on spiritual development and social change with her husband, Gordon Asher Davidson, for more than 30 years in the United States and Europe. They have been interviewed for more than 130 newspapers, magazines and radio and television shows, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Boston Globe, NBC TV, and Fox News. They live in the San Francisco area and appreciate silence in quiet, beautiful places in nature. Gordon Asher Davidson is the president of the Center for Visionary Leadership and a co-founder of Sirius Community, and has served as the founding director of the Social Investment Forum and the Coalition for Environmentally Responsible Economies (Ceres). Through Joyful Evolution Consulting, he serves as a consultant and personal coach in spiritual growth, leadership, conflict resolution and group decision-making, and has worked closely with many corporate, government and nonprofit leaders and groups. He is co-author of Spiritual Politics and Builders of the Dawn, author of The Transfiguration of Our World, and is a Fellow of the World Business Academy and the Findhorn Foundation, and a member of the Transformational Leadership Council.
