Produktbeschreibung
The work consists of a critical analysis of the Foreign Language (English) classes that make up the current scenario in Brazilian primary education. It presents a didactic sequence for teaching English that encompasses the guiding competences of language teaching and also enables students to have contact with and effectively practise North American everyday communication. This objective is achieved through cultural and historical insertion into teaching and the use of authentic materials in the classroom. The Work Project covers the theme of American festivities, which, together with the use of a famous television series and the practice of textual genres, permeate the learning process with meaning, interactivity and dynamism, as well as promoting an extremely rich linguistic-cultural atmosphere that is equally motivating for the students. In addition, the proposed classes favour the promotion of a collaborative and enjoyable environment for English language learning in regular educational institutions. This pedagogical practice is also enriched by its clear character of stimulating student protagonism in the teaching-learning process.
