Ahmed Maaty is a diplomat, speechwriter, and international civil servant who spends his days writing about very grim, serious realities for a living, and his evenings trying to dream up fantastical scenarios far removed from those realities. Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1990, and raised in three different continents, his passion for words, love of escapism, and experience with vastly different cultures and people shape much of his life and writing.
