This work aims to demonstrate how the media performs, through a technical-discursive apparatus, a prior trial of the accused; notably in cases of crimes with greater social repercussions, such as murder, for example. The intention was to delineate the structure of the media discourse, demonstrating that its production follows a perverse order to create tension, shock and limit the individual's hermeneutic field. There was also the concern to evaluate what kind of influences the Law receives from the communication instances, mainly in the figure of its operators, such as lawyers, judges. The relationship between the media, the State and society was also evaluated, seeking to understand its influences, problems and dangers.
