Autorenporträt
At the tender age of 8, J. R. Brienza was inspired by time spent in a cardboard washing machine box to begin her writing career. Her third-grade teacher was a progressive young idealist that encouraged said behavior.

Adulthood landed Brienza in the too-cool-for-school world of the professional creative, where she spent more than twenty years as an interior designer, and Green Advantage certified general contractor.

As bugs often do, the writing bug kept biting. When she isn't penning her next book, or saving the world from shiplap, she spends time in her Pennsylvania home with her longtime love and their pets.
