Considering that pre-school education is the first link of a country's education system, we found it reasonable to write this book chapter about the history of preschool education in Kosovo and the for the documents that have been issued specifically for pre-school education in Kosovo, documents issued after 1999, specifically after 2000.The circumstances in which Kosovo has gone through in general, and the Kosovo education system in particular, have not been easy. We say so about the fact that Kosovo as a state was founded in 2008, despite this fact, the beginnings of preschool education in Kosovo can be said to date back to the end of the XIX century, ie the beginning of the XX century.As in the whole world, even in Kosovo the world wars, i.e. The First and Second World Wars affected the collapse of institutions, including educational ones. Then, in addition to the world wars, the last war in Kosovo, which ended in June 1999, has caused a lot of damage, even in to the preschooleducation documents.The education system in Kosovo, specifically preschool education is not easy to research.
