The book addresses the need to improve the treatment of the preventive guidance function from the initial training process of the primary teacher, which will encourage the development of the professional modes of action defined by the authors. The novelty of the research is expressed in the proposal of a system of educational actions for the development of the function of preventive guidance that favours pertinent modes of action of the primary teacher in training and to enhance the development of their ability to guide, prevent and direct, understanding this as the development of skills and abilities so that, in this way, they develop self-control, professional security, in the face of the challenges of the profession.
