Davina Palik has been writing children's stories since she was a child herself. As an adult she took the scenic route back to children's literature, obtaining a degree in journalism and spending the the next decade travelling the world as a wedding photographer and educator. Her journey led her back to writing when she became a mother, first to Max and then to Charlie. Today she wears many metaphorical hats including entrepreneur, feminist activist, and writer, but it is her role as a mother that simultaneously challenges her most and brings her the most joy.
