Nell Stark is an award-winning author of lesbian romance. In 2010, everafter (with Trinity Tam) won a Goldie award in the paranormal romance category and was shortlisted for the Foreword Book of the Year award in the horror category. In 2013, The Princess Affair was a Lambda Literary Award finalist in the lesbian romance category. In 2015, The Princess and the Prix was a Golden Crown Literary Society finalist in the traditional contemporary romance category. When she is not writing, Nell teaches at a community college in the SUNY system. She and her wife Jane Chen (Trinity Tam) live in New York City.
