Autorenporträt
Born in the Ottawa Valley, Amy's family moved around the country instilling in her a fascination with the concept of "home" -- a reoccurring theme in her work. A lover of all things old and dilapidated (but with a great view), she hopes her book's settings nudge the reader into another time, another place, another world."There is nothing I love more than an abandoned house with a sordid tale emanating from its crooked walls. Just think how lovely it would be to sit down with a cup of tea and have a chat." Amy lives with her husband and divides her time between Ottawa ON, Nelson BC, and Costa Rica, but feels a pang of longing when she visits her parents' home on the Ottawa River. The Prisoner's Daughter is her first novel.
