Africa, the cradle of humanity, remains a historical continent through the discoveries it has known. However, it should be noted that it is one of the continents that has experienced a considerable delay in the emergence of its population, as poverty and unemployment have been recorded in recent years. As a researcher, our concern was to conduct a study in the domestic sector in order to understand this sector. Indeed, the objective of this work was to get in touch with the domestic workers. Thus, we asked ourselves the question of what does not prevent employers from committing abuses against their workers and we concluded that many factors are at the root of this, including the absence of the state in this sector. However, based on our field research, we have understood that several factors explain domesticity in Africa and the workers we find there live for the most part under the poverty line despite their multiple efforts in this sector.
